Cranky old ex-cop turned private investigator Jay and his new assistant, his tech-savvy granddaughter, McKayla, arrive in the mining town of Carmine, Nevada looking for their client's young daughter, Rose, whose mother spirited her away in a bitter custody battle. Carmine is a strange, spooky place, and its residents are extremely hostile to the PIs.
Jay and McKayla soon learn that Rose and her mother might be members of an ancient, other worldly doomsday cult. As they dig deeper, they begin discovering horrifying secrets about the cult and about the child's disappearance. If they can survive the town's hostile residents and the cult's henchmen, they just might be able to bring Rose home--or they might find themselves destroyed in the process...
