My short story, “The Mortician’s Wife”, will appear in an anthology series by Wicked Shadows Press called Soulmate Syndrome. My short story will be appearing in Volume 2 of said anthology series.
Hellen had been married to Mike for a few years now and things had been perfect, they are approaching their anniversary and Hellen wants everything to be perfect. She is blind but that doesn’t mean she can’t be an effective mortician’s assistant. When their mortuary is full, Mike will often bring work home, which means dead bodies in their basement.
